The Ballyclare Horse Fair, County Antrim, 30 minutes north of Belfast, has been held every May for hundreds of years.  Held on the Tuesday of Ballyclare's May Fair Week, it is a wonderful, colorful, dizzying swirl of horses, big and small, and horse people big and small... inspiration for a thousand paintings.
