Yeoman Bontrup: Loch Linnhe
22" x 30" - oil on canvas - Sold

A violent explosion set afire the Yeoman Bontrup, berthed on Loch Linnhe, north of Oban on the west coast of Scotland. Six months later she'd been towed to Ijmoiden Harbor in The Netherlands, to be restored and refitted. Burnt and scarred, she had a "savage beauty" all her own.
