A chance meeting with a beautiful Connemara Pony on a headland west of Clifden became an experience I will never forget.  The horse was curious, friendly, and seemed to be showing off — galloping across the field to say hello, then wheeling and galloping away. This reminded me of the magical white Connemara Pony in the movie, "Into the West," the one the little boys called, "Tir na nOg."
