It took me awhile to track down the pedigree of this rusted skeleton of a car I came across one misty morning on Rt. 73, just outside Boyertown, PA. After some research I determined that it is a 1937 Dodge D5 coupe, a very stylish roadster in its day. It would be today as well, with it's timeless elegance. The windows are beautifully styled, the flowing curves of the front end, the sweep down to the back deck. It MAY have a rumble seat back there...I never checked. At one time this car had big billowing fenders that rested on those skeletal wings that remain today. I want one of these cars!
Here's what our Berks Couple looked like when
it was younger.
