When I asked the woman from whom we rented our West Cork cottage the name of the beautiful chestnut horse posing in the field next door, she answered: "Her name is Lally and she’s a REAL redhead — unpredictable, fiery but with a heart of gold albeit tinged with a touch of devilment!" What else is there to say?
